Chairman Bost Welcomes Republican Committee Members for the 119th Congress

Today, House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs Chairman Mike Bost (R-Ill.), released the following statement after he announced the Republican Members who will serve on the Committee for the 119th Congress:

“Whether it’s their own military service to experience in small business ownership, healthcare, and local government, I have no doubt that our Republican Committee Members for the 119th Congress will bring valuable insights to the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs. I am incredibly proud that over half of the members on the Republican side of the dais are veterans themselves, they know what it means to serve because they have lived it, and their firsthand knowledge is vitally important,” said Chairman Bost. “We have assembled a dynamic team to deliver on President Trump’s veteran first agenda and I’m excited to fight alongside these new and returning legislators to expand opportunity for the men and women who have served and their families – let’s get to work.”
