Bost Statement on Committee Passage of 13 Bills

Today, Rep. Mike Bost (R-Ill.), the Ranking Member of the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs, released the following statement after the Committee reported 13 bills to be considered on the House Floor:

“The 13 bills the Committee passed today will help servicemembers, veterans, and military families across the country. I was proud to support most of these proposals, including Republican bills to expand the life insurance for families of fallen servicemembers and help student veterans get a return on investment for their GI bill benefits,” said Ranking Member Bost. “However, I am concerned about the Toxic Exposure Funds’ continued impact on our ability to advance legislation. If we do not find a solution, this barrier will prevent us from continuing our work on behalf of millions of veterans, caregivers, and survivors.”
