I am convinced that companies like yours will not only continue to excel in hiring veterans, but can also lead the way in sharing best practices among your business partners and industries.”
–Rep. Jeff Miller, Chairman of the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs
The Veterans Employment Summit of 2011 bought together many of the companies who have been hard at work hiring and training America’s heroes.
We are hopeful that this Summit not only raised the awareness of the importance of this issue, but also shared the best practices in hiring veterans for others to learn from, and hopefully implement.
We look forward to continuing the discussion on how the private sector can help get our veterans out the unemployment lines and into the workforce.
