Today, Rep. Jeff Miller, Chairman of the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs, issued the following statement on the appointment of the Republican Members to the Committee in the new Congress: “I look forward to working with both returning and new Members of the Committee. We have a lot to accomplish in the coming Congress, from addressing veteran unemployment issues, to improving access to mental health care, to increasing oversight of VA. Each of these men and women has committed to putting America’s veterans first, and for that I am grateful.
