Today, Rep. Mike Bost (R-Ill.), the Ranking Member of the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs, released the following statement after the House passed 13 bipartisan veterans’ bills this week:

“Just a few days after celebrating our nation’s heroes on Veterans Day, I was proud to support all 13 veterans’ bills that passed the House this week,” said Ranking Member Bost. “These bills would improve the delivery of care, benefits, and services to veterans, spouses, caregivers, and survivors. I am especially excited to see three strong House Republican-led proposals pass out of the House today. Both Dr. Murphy’s bill and Rep. Ellzey’s bill will support student veterans’ mental health and Rep. Bergman’s bill will help ensure VA delivers good, modern care to veterans well into the future. I hope to see all of the bills we passed this week signed into law as soon as possible.”

2. H.R. 4626, as amended - VA AIM Act (Rep. Bergman)
3. H.R. 5516, as amended - VITAL Assessment Act (Rep. Ellzey)
4. H.R. 4591, as amended - VA Electronic Health Record Transparency Act of 2021 (Rep. Mrvan)
5. H.R. 5671, as amended - To authorize VA to furnish seasonal influenza vaccines to certain individuals (Rep. Takano)
6. H.R. 5603, as amended - Protections for Student Veterans (Rep. Underwood)
7. H.R. 3665 - To designate the Jennifer Moreno Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, and to support the designation of a component of such medical center in honor of Kathleen Bruyere (Rep. Levin)
8. H.R. 147, as amended - BRAVE Act (Rep. Norcross)
9. H.R. 2433 - Burn Pit Registry Enhancement Act (Rep. Ruiz)
10. S. 796 - Protecting Moms Who Served (Sen. Duckworth/Sen. Collins)
