BACKGROUND: This oversight hearing will examine the Department of Veterans Affairs’ oversight of its various life insurance programs, including VA’s and the Department of Defense’s efforts to modernize these programs, the programs’ competitiveness with private life insurance programs, the accuracy of TSGLI decisions and veteran and servicemember satisfaction with the programs.
