Additionally, the subcommittee will also explore lessons learned from coordination actions before and after a major disaster response, how that may inform greater integration of VA and DoD for health training and disaster relief purposes and what actions may be needed moving forward to improve VA’s partnerships with community providers in both urban and rural areas.
