Veterans’ Affairs Committee Passes Six Bills

Today, Chairman Phil Roe, M.D. (R-Tenn.) released the following statement after the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs passed six bills out of committee:

“The six pieces of legislation passed today out of this committee demonstrate the commitment on both sides of the aisle to take care of our nation’s heroes when they return home. These bills will assist veterans in fulfilling the American dream of purchasing a home, provide in-home adaptations to care for servicemembers with disabilities and furnish memorial headstones to help us honor the fallen. I look forward to moving these bills through the legislative process and keeping the promises we’ve made to those who have worn the uniform of our great nation.”
