H.R. 1276: The VA VACCINE Act [Note: Enacted as the SAVE LIVES Act]
The VA VACCINE Act, introduced by Rep. Mark Takano and Rep. Mike Bost, would expand the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) ability to provide COVID-19 vaccines to veterans and their caregivers. Under this legislation, VA would be able to provide vaccines to all veterans—including those not currently enrolled in the VA healthcare system and those who have an income above a certain threshold—and caregivers who provide essential support to veterans. This bill would also expand VA's authority so that they can provide vaccines to veterans living abroad who rely on the Foreign Medical Program (including those who reside in the Philippines). S. 2533: The MAMMO Act
Requires VA to develop a strategic plan to improve breast imaging services, create a tele-mammography pilot program for veterans in areas where VA does not offer in-house mammography and expand veterans’ access to clinical trials through partnerships with the National Cancer Institute.

H.R. 290: The GI Bill Transferability Protection Act of 2021
The GI Bill Transferability Protection Act of 2021, introduced by Rep. Mike Bost, this bill would ensure that the servicemember, not their spouse or dependent, is responsible for repaying GI Bill expenses incurred as a result of the servicemember’s failure to fulfill their service obligation. The Veterans 2nd Amendment Protection Act, introduced by Rep. Mike Bost, would prohibit VA from sending information on veterans (or beneficiaries) who are assisted by a fiduciary to NICS without a judicial ruling that they are a danger to themselves, or others. This would ensure that veterans are afforded the same due process that every other American receives before any action is taken that would deprive them of one of the constitutional rights. Mike Bost, would create a bipartisan commission to assess veterans’ eligibility for care within VA and make recommendations for how such eligibility could be revised and simplified. H.R. 292: The VA Health Center Management and Stability Act
The VA Health Center Management and Stability Act, introduced by Rep. Mike Bost, would require VA to develop and implement a plan to hire directors at VA medical centers that lack permanent leadership and to prioritize hiring at those facilities that have lacked such leadership the longest. As part of that plan, VA would be required to identify any impediments to hiring medical center directors that exist as well as opportunities to train and promote internal candidates to leadership positions.
