Takano, Roe Issue Bipartisan Statement on Veteran Suicide Prevention

WASHINGTON, DC – Reps. Mark Takano (D-Cali.) and Phil Roe, M.D. (R-Tenn.), Chairman and Ranking Member of the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs, respectively, issued a joint bipartisan statement following yesterday’s roundtable on veteran suicide prevention:

“Our Committee believes in identifying and utilizing every tool at our disposal to reduce the number of veteran suicides each year. That’s why we came together with our partners and stakeholders to continue this vital conversation in earnest. We will continue to lead on this issue and look forward to more bipartisan dialogue and action so we can better support our veterans.”
