Sergeant Shaun Rieley serves in the National Guard with Maryland's 175th Infantry Regiment.

He has deployed twice in support of the Global War on Terror. His first deployment was to Guantanamo Bay as part of the security efforts. His second deployment took Shaun to Baghdad, Iraq, during Operation Iraqi Freedom where he worked in detainee operations.

Shaun says of his service, "I am proud to have served my nation during this time of need."

He continues to serve America's veterans at The American Legion in its legislative department.
